Hall Duty Week of 2-23: LECHER, KESTNER, KNILANDS, ACTON

There will be a baseball meeting Thursday at beginning of study hall in high school gym. Please check in with your ASR teacher and then come to the gym. Baseball practice will start on Monday, March 2.

Costa Rica Meeting- Monday, March 2nd during lunch in Profe Nieto's classroom. Please plan accordingly & bring your lunch. 

This week, you can earn points for the Winterfest spirit medal by donating money to your classes' jar; the jars are located on the counter in the HS office, contributions can be made through Thursday at 3:15. All proceeds will be given to the snack pack program.

After Monday's dress up day and lunch games: JR & FR 350 points each ; SR & SO 175 points each.

DRESS UP DAYS: Red vs. Green/John Deere vs. Case IH; Thursday: Hat day; Friday: Dress to the nines/Official dress for FFA  members.

Frosh - Check in with Mr. Brooks; Soph - Check in with Mr. Murawski; Jrs - Check in with Mr. Kestner; Srs - Check in with Mr. Swan

Winterfest walk in sign up sheets are on the counter in the HS office. This is for Girls BKB, Boys BKB, Cheer and Dance athletes. Date Request forms are also on the counter and due by Wednesday, February 25th. Coronation is at 7 :00; the dance until 10:00 PM. General admission $1. $5 for students attending the dance.

Spanish Club members: If you would like a Bundt Cake fundraiser form, please see Profe Nieto. 

Juniors: Krispy Kreme order forms & money are due 3/25.

There will be a Writers’ Club meeting during lunch in Mr. Kestner’s room on Thursday, 2/26.

Congratulations to Henry Osborne and Sophia Shaw for earning spots on the Scholastic Bowl All-Sectional team. Several teams nominated multiple players, so these selections were well-earned.

Spanish Club Meeting- Thursday, March 19th during lunch in the HS Study Hall. Please plan accordingly, bring your lunch, & wear your Spanish club tee. 
THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE LAST CALL FOR A YEARBOOK. The final date for ordering a yearbook is this Wednesday. Anyone who wants to be sure they get a yearbook needs to see Mr. Cordes. You can order at the link, send cash, or make out a check payable to the high school. They are currently $75. Act now before it's too late!

ImpactLife will be here for our FFA sponsored blood drive on Thursday, March 19th from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM in the little gym. You can scan the QR code found on the flyers around the school or call 1-800-747-5401 to schedule an appointment. Students who are 16 years of age must have a parent signed permission form to donate.

Football Cheer Clinic and Tryout dates have been set. Mark your calendars for the following: CLINIC DATES: 3/12 @ 6 PM; 3/16 @ 6 PM; 3/17 @ 6 PM; 3/23 @ 6 PM; 3/24 @ 6 PM;

TRYOUTS: 3/29 @ 6 PM.

It is not too early to start thinking about Prom 2026!! You must be a student in good standing to be able to attend. Per the handbook, this means: Passing 6 classes; no out of school suspensions; no in school detentions; maintain a good attendance record (no more than 1 unexcused absence - even 1 class period); 4 days or less of excused absences per semester.
