Hall Duty Week of 1-5: SKINNER, VERPLAETSE, MUHR, WILSON

Let it be known henceforth that beginning this Friday, 1/9/26, members of the house with the most points will be eligible to leave for lunch five minutes early on Fridays!!! 

This message has been brought to you by your House Leadership Council, in partnership with RESCOM and VGHS Administration. RESCOM and Administrators reserve the right to revoke this privilege on an individual basis should behaviors warrant such action. 

For anyone playing baseball or softball this year, there will be a mandatory meeting Thursday in the big gym at beginning of study hall. Please check in with your study hall teacher and then head down. Meeting will start at 2:30. 

SWAT will host its monthly Prayer at the Flagpole this Wed., 17, at 7:50am. Meet near the main entrance, and we’ll walk out to the flag pole together. All students and staff are welcome!

FRIDAY, 02/09/2026: HSBBB  vs.Sullivan ---> SUPERHERO Night! First 30 Blue Crew members to attend will receive superhero accessories! 

The following students need to see Mrs. Alexander today: Areigha Hauversburk, Addison Burris, Mikailah Ehmen, Lilly-Lynn Davis, Amijah Riggleman, Kenna Koeberlein, Skylar Sanders, Macy Thompson, Ethan Messer.

SWAT has prepared a prayer locker for students who would like to request prayer. SWAT will check the locker before meetings each Wednesday and pray for anyone’s needs. You do not need to reveal your name. You will find cards and a pencil attached to the locker on the 3rd floor: Locker 350.

It is not too early to start thinking about Prom 2026!! You must be a student in good standing to be able to attend. Per the handbook, this means: Passing 6 classes; no out of school suspensions; no in school detentions; maintain a good attendance record (no more than 1 unexcused absence - even 1 class period); 4 days or less of excused absences per semester.

Scholastic Bowl will meet after school in the library to receive shirts and to have a limited practice.

Gamers Guild will no longer be meeting after school but will meet only during ASR. Thank you!
